Ideal for couples looking for relaxation

The shuttle service from the bus terminal was a lifesaver, reminded me of royalty being picked up! The onsen experience was fantastic, soaking in the outdoor baths surrounded by nature was so calming.

It wasn't inexpensive but was still a fair deal given the experience.

It was fab stay, I didn't want to say goodbye and would go back in flash. The location was marvellous - short walk to the yubatake and the convenience store as well as the town square. It also was to most places of interest. I had the japanese-style room which was comfy and warm.

Everything was super clean and attentive service that embraces Japanese hospitality.

Osakaya ryokan was fantastic! The location was perfect, just a stroll away from yubatake. The onsen experience was very nice, with outdoor options providing a great atmosphere. Breakfast was a lovely traditional sit-down meal with fish, and the dining setup felt classy and upscale. We also appreciated the roomy superior japanese-style room which was very comfortable for our four-night stay.

would have preferred a stool by the sink for easier use.

It was just a balanced option for a city break in Kusatsu with decent value for money. The onsen experience was nice, especially enjoying the outdoor bath surrounded by nature that's perfect after a long day. Try to reach the onsen early for a more relaxing time without the crowd.

A Cozy Retreat with Fine Onsen Experience

The outdoor onsen was amazing, especially at sunset! Breakfast offered a good array of traditional dishes. I recommend reaching the onsen early for a relaxing soak without the crowd.

My room had central heating, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a fridge, which made my stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

Enjoyed traditional Japanese meals, private onsen available for reservation, beautiful outdoor baths, excellent service.
